EZ Mark Inc

Frequently Asked Questions

1. How does an EZ Marker WORK?

Operating Instructions:

1. Remove the protective cap.

2. Gently depress the EZ Marker to mark your position on the green.

3. Remember the players behind you and remove your mark before you leave the green.

2. How long does an EZ Marker LAST?
Essentially, EZ Markers will last forever. Known units have been in existence since the 1980's and some earlier. Simply refill the unit, and you’re off and marking! From the fill line, EZ Markers repeatedly test to release over 40 marks before the next refill. With periodic cleaning, your marker could outlast your golf game.

3. How easy is it to REFILL an EZ Marker?

Powder Refill Instructions: EZ Markers are received full, ready to use. We use only very fine powder such as talcum powder (baby powder) or powdered chalk. Do not use any type of sand or granular powder, or your EZ Marker may clog and it's movement prevented. If sand or granular powders are used, simply clean your marker and start again.

1. Hold the EZ Marker casing with the end cap upright, and unscrew the end cap. Fill the casing with powder, note the EZ Marker is full when you have filled the casing 3/4. This prevents powder from compacting.

2. Replace the end plug and hand tighten snugly.

4. Are there any MAINTENANCE requirements?

Maintenance Instructions: Occasional cleaning of your EZ Marker is recommended.

1. Remove the end plug.

2. Carefully disassemble all the parts. Take caution to avoid dropping or losing the individual pieces (5 pieces total: casing, spring, ball, end cap and plastic storage cover).

3. Individually rinse each part thoroughly, using very warm tap water. Dry each piece using a blow dryer, or, dry cloth. Take extra caution to thoroughly dry the inside of the casing, and the internal threaded areas prior to refilling with powder.

5. Can you use an EZ Marker if the grass is wet?
If the ground is simply damp, wipe away the moisture prior to using the EZ Marker. If it is pouring rain, remember to use your umbrella! EZ Markers dispense common powders. As you would suspect, if the powder gets wet you may need to clean it.
